Heavy Sweater's debut album 'SO SAD!' is the album you've been crying for. On the album they forego genre conventions and trends alike to form a record that is as poppy as it is unhinged, combining radio-friendly singalong choruses with heavy distortion and pummeling drums.

Heavy Sweater is a rock band from Toronto. Forming in 2020, the group blends power pop, indie and emo into an energetic and always-catchy sound. Heavy Sweater connects elements of 90s grunge, 00s alt-rock and various waves of emo into an album that borrows from the past to create a sound that mirrors the present day, in all its turmoil, anxiety, excess and intensity.
